Regional Theater

Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center's second performance venue will be the dramatic 2000–Seat Regional Theater, currently scheduled to open in 2011. The theater, featuring a unique, terraced seating layout that ensures that no seat is more than 125 feet from the stage, is designed to host full-scale Broadway touring productions along with some of the world’s most well-known artists and performing ensembles. In addition, a visitor’s center will be located adjacent to the tri-level atrium lobby. This visitor’s center will be open to the public during both performance and nonperformance times. Currently projected at $70.8 million, the theater is a collaborative partnership between LVPAC and the City of Livermore.
